Spoonful of sweet orange with liqueur and coffee beans or otherwise the "44" of the French! The magic secret of French cuisine that wants the favorite liqueur of the French to be made with 44 coffee beans after being nailed on an orange and left in alcohol, along with 44 sugar cubes for 44 days! It is found in the form of a dessert spoon for the first time by Citrus, who could not help but invent a more original recipe, there, in the mansion of Myrovolos, Chios, which prepares its treasures.
The Citrus company was founded in 2008 in Kampos, Chios, with the basic aim of uniting the horizons of the past with the present. It uniquely evolved the traditional flavors, making additions that promise new gastronomic feasts, driving the lovers −and not− of the genre crazy in the Greek and the world market.

HISTORY "FROM GOLD" BEHIND THE PRODUCT
The tradition of Greece wants the sweets of the spoon to win with their sword their eternal place next to the Greek blend, the hot freshly roasted coffee. The grandmothers even said that the right Greek coffee is drunk plain. So, they served a small saucer with sweets from their hands, to drive the bitterness out of their mouths. The serving ritual is perhaps the most characteristic manifestation of Greek culture as it requires:
- the proper preparation of the blend. Let's not forget the political secret that wants the kettle to have to go up and down 3 times on the eye, as soon as the first blisters appear!
- the right choice of tableware between porcelain plates and cups that were kept from generation to generation in the Smyrnaean "cocoons"
- and of course the right choice of the dessert of the spoon or the Turkish delight that would accompany the coffee.
Depending on the season, there was a corresponding need not to spoil the fruit and keep it in the syrup. Thus, it kept both its taste and its nutrients. So the variety of spoon sweets is inexhaustible, depending on the area and its fruits! It is this variety that has been expanding over the years. It also included flower petals such as the incomparably sweet rose. It even included nuts (for many there is no better taste than the sweet walnut).
Apart from accompanying coffee, the spoon dessert is also a representative indication of Greek hospitality. Along with a glass of cold water, the dessert was offered to both visitors and passers-by as a gesture of love.
